Best Tablets For Elderly Users 2014

best tablets for elderly users 2014
Tablets make great gifts for senior citizens. I got one for my mother-in-law recently - and she loved it. We got her a Kindle Fire, which has Amazon's easy to use carousel type interface.

I know it's not to everyone's taste - but it's very simple to find your way around, which makes it ideal for an elderly relative who might not be all that computer savvy.

The fact is that all of the best tablets on the market today are pretty user friendly and, if you're thinking of getting one as a gift for an elderly family member, they'll probably get the hang of it pretty quickly.

If in doubt, go with one of the new Kindle Fire offerings which has the 24 hour live help - Mayday they call it. That should put your mind at ease - and save you from fielding too many technical questions at the same time.

However, just about any of the top tablets will do very well thank you. I think that the 7" versions are best. They're light and easy to hold, and portable too. However, if your gift recipient has very poor eyesight, then a larger tablet might not be a bad idea.

Here's a list of some of the best tablets for elderly users 2014:
